Hi, I’m Gabi.

I was born in Peru and have spent much of my life between different cultures, each one shaping the way I see beauty, people, and the world around me.

Beauty, cooking, and art in all their forms have always been part of my life. When I was younger, I had the opportunity to be part of the beauty pageant world in Peru, but my greatest achievement has nothing to do with titles. It’s being the proud mom of Amalia and Bruno, who have taught me more about love, strength, and purpose than anything else ever could.

GARBO began with a simple idea: beauty should do more for your skin.

My daughter and I both have sensitive skin, and that made me especially conscious of what we put on it. What works for sensitive, breakout-prone teenage skin isn’t always what mature skin needs—but both deserve thoughtful, effective formulas.

There are thousands of beauty products out there, and K-beauty has transformed skincare for a reason. Korea has mastered the art of skincare. But not every formula is created equal. The difference is in the ingredients, how they’re formulated, and how your skin responds to them.

That philosophy is at the heart of GARBO. We don’t believe in offering everything. We carefully curate high-performance skincare, skincare-infused makeup, hair care, and innovative beauty tools for different ages, skin types, and concerns—from sensitive and blemish-prone teen skin to hydration, texture, pores, firmness, and everything in between.
